1. What was it like using your hand as subject matter for a drawing?
At first it felt pretty strange to look at it and actually study them, but then it became normal and actually fun.
2. What media did you select - pencil or charcoal? Why?
I used pencil just because charcoal is not my favorite medium because its pretty messy and smears easily.
3. How did it feel to create a drawing with your non-dominant hand?
It was pretty horrible I’m not that great at drawing to begin with and using my other hand was just atrocious.
4. Compare and contrast your final drawings. Do you think they are successful studies?
I think the non-dominant hand was horrible but the first one was semi okay, it could use a bit of work but it was average.
5. Would you consider using your non-dominant hand to create artwork in the future?
Probably, maybe nothing as in-depth as an actual hand but maybe some kind of abstract piece.
